Breadcrumbs and battleships

Oh joy. A Friday in front of the computer!

After a flat out week of writing crappy programs for people at work I finally have some time to myself again. How would a girl spend this time.....YEAH! Painting. For the first time in months I’m painting again. Suddenly I’ve realised that I really suck at painting. Back in my younger days, (14 or 15) I think I peaked at painting miniatures, at the time I was painting Warhammer and Necomunda miniatures for many mighty battles against brother and I had a bit of a rule that I couldn’t use one unless it was painted - a rule my brother never adhered to cause he "had goblins and there were so many of them". So now, it seems I suck. I paint it, then I highlight it with a dark colour then dry brush and it looks kinda crap. I've made a collage of some of my miniatures from years back and one now....I don’t like the new one. It kinda sucks.

Resolution to do more painting....and get good at it again
